Commercial-residential-agricultural integration

Mixed-use zoning as norm — not exception.

We can’t build up without elevators.

We shouldn’t live (or work) far from a centralized point of care.

We need integrated recycling programs for medical waste.

We need to capitalize on rooftop infrastructure for agriculture.

We need to cross-train everyone— enjoy your work, don’t make other people suffer because you’re trapped in your life. Be where you are because you want to be there, try something new because learning improves aging support and neuroplasticity. Build new connections with your ecosystem with ease and rejuvenate your sense of what you contribute to.

We’re on the same ride; being alive while learning about human, humanity, and self, until one day, we hope to be remembered. We hope our grandchildren will honor what we’ve built for them and that they might rise to the same sense of duty and build and cultivate and nurture sustainable living for their grandchildren.

I pivot sharply away from economic feudalism and wonder widely how we might evolve into a society of federated mutualism.

I will continue to dream. Continue to hope for new support systems that aren’t so superficial.

For now, I need rest.
